Happy "Clementine's" Day To You! When at the store today, the girls pointed down the aisles of red and pink and exclaimed, "Mama, Clementines!", which is the cutest toddler translation of Valentine's that I've ever heard. And when picking out Valentines for their classmates, everyone's favorite Disney character was given the name "Sticky Mouse". Hilarity abounds in our world.

I love it! Gracie's new toddlerism is ba-noggan (toboggan). I could correct her...but this is so much more fun! I love seeing the girls, we need to get together for a playdate sometime!

How sweet those girls are!

And I have to tell you that just looking at those cookies is making me salivate. You, my friend, make THE BEST sugar cookies I have ever put in my mouth.

What about the Glissons actually posting more than one time per month! I am in blog heaven! I, too, wish I could be eating some of those cookies right now...except for the ones with a full pound of the sprinkles on them!

Happy Clementine’s Day to you too, Sydney and Abigail! Too cute. I also LOVE the heart cookies—especially the ones with the BLACK center—oooh, what symbolism! Artistic expression way beyond their years! Are you reading them bedtime stories by Joseph Conrad by any chance?

For those of you who made such nice comments about my sugar cookies--thanks. But, I must confess, these were the good old, store-bought pilsbury kind. I haven't made the homemade ones in years. And the black in the center of the cookies is really green sugar. (We only have Christmas sprinkles.)
