Growing Up Fast

The girls' physical development in the last two weeks has amazed us. As you can see, Abigail is starting to pull up and can keep her balance for a while on the coffee table. Sydney has been crawling in small spurts and has almost mastered the alternating hand-knee-hand-knee motion.

This past week was a tough one for us--sickness. Abigail was not herself Wednesday and Thursday and had a significant fever. She had to be held almost all day and didn't want anything to do with playtime. We were up with her for 3 hours or so in the night as well--it has been a long time since Daddy had to be up caring for a baby in the middle of the night! Sleep is overrated though. Sydney showed symptoms of sickness yesterday and also had a fever. It seems that everyone is better or getting better today. Just those little interruptions in our regular schedule can easily wear us out...but, of course, we wouldn't trade it for the world.
