When Rebekah and I have a chance to sit and reflect on the past week, we always comment on how time truly flies. This past week was filled with shopping and Christmas parties, business trips and busy work, new foods for the girls-vegetables-and, of course, the daily grind. In the meantime, Sydney and Abigail never fail to surprise us and get our attention. Each of the girls is talking more--not full sentences yet, but more vocal every day. Their legs seem much stronger than just a week ago, and they can now enjoy the jump-chair--modeled by the lovely, dancing Abigail in the above pictures. And the frequency of smiles have increased--come to think of it the whining has increased as well, but that is all part of them telling us what they want. Right now the "talking" means that it is time to eat--again...

I love the swing pictures! Brings back memories of the "Johnny Jump-up" we used to have that hung from the door frame in which we suspended our offspring. I think that is one reason that they all developed such aerobic interests in life! Thanks for the pictures! We look forward to seeing you all in St. Louis soon!

Grace and Peace

that first swing picture is hilarious. i was actually laughing out loud sitting at my computer because i didn't know it was a swing picture and i thought that abigail was throwing herself up on her feet and doing a little jig all by herself (while bek sits calmly in the background). when i understood that it was a swing that was allowing her to be on her feet, the picture made more sense, but was no less funny...thanks for putting that one up there. i am SO SO excited to see you all tomorrow night. it has been way too long. have a great day and a half before your drive to stl! love you!
